Learn More About Our Response To COVID-19.
June 30, 2021
Dear Residents and Friends:
Most of you are aware that COVID-19 cases are back on the rise in our state due to the Delta variant. In a letter we sent earlier in the week we let you know that we recently had an employee that tested positive and is now on a 14-day quarantine. Subsequently we tested all employees and found no positive results. We will continue to test employees on a regular basis. Additionally, we have been providing incentives to all staff to get vaccinated.
Yesterday, we were notified that OSHA, the Occupational and Safety Health Administration through the US Department of Labor is mandating that all health care workers wear masks at work. The purpose is to protect our residents and staff and limit the spread of the virus.
If you see staff wearing masks, please be assured that they are wearing them according to the requirements. Rest assured, we will always notify you if there are any staff or residents that are tested positive so that you can take any precautions that is right for you.
We will continue to follow all federal, state, and local health guidelines. Our county is currently at Severe COVID level. We look forward to returning to moderate level.
Thank you for choosing Las Fuentes to be your home. Please see me if you have any questions or concerns.
