COVID 19 Virus Update: Activities & Vaccine News

COVID 19 update at {{location_name}} in {{location_city}}, {{location_state_name}}

February 4, 2021

Yesterday Las Fuentes Resort Village completed the first round of COVID-19 Moderna vaccines in partnership with CVS pharmacy. Almost all of our residents and staff were vaccinated. It was a day of celebration and happiness!

We believe our mission is to provide life changing service. That’s the goal and guiding principle in everything we do. Towards that end, as of today we are pleased to report that we currently have no positive COVID residents in our Independent or Assisted Living communities.

We will have two more rounds of COVID vaccinations in addition to the first round that we completed yesterday. They are scheduled for March 3 and March 31. The March 3 date is mandatory for individuals who received their first round. The other two dates will enable those who were not able to take their first round vaccine and complete the second round by the end of March.

All Independent Living and Assisted Living residents who wish to receive the vaccine will do so in two rounds. Those who miss one of the rounds will have a third time to get it done. All Las Fuentes employees are eligible to receive it as well. There is paperwork to complete prior to vaccine administration.

Activities and Dining Room

We are gradually reopening activities, transportation, and dining room service as conditions permit. Our Assisted Living area is following all state and local protocols for visitation and social activities. Independent Living follows different guidelines and will continue to require masks, social distancing, hand sanitizing, and temperature taking too.

As always, IL dining room service follows all masking and social distancing protocols. If you have a temperature, are not feeling well or have been in recent contact with someone who has tested positive, you will not be able to enter the dining room.
